A non-profit organisation, TUNO was formed last year and consists of a Board of Governors, Special Advisors and an Executive Committee.

It aims to bring all small and large grassroot Tamil organisations, Tamil businesses and institutions together under one umbrella to speak in One Voice to urge International Community and Sri Lankan Government to deliver just solution for Tamils in North-East Sri Lanka within three years.

Tamils have had no solution after over 70 years of negotiations with no place to call Home.

Tamil historical land is being colonised and integrated with South intentionally and deliberately making Tamils minority and powerless society.

We want to live freely and in peace in our homeland: “We have legitimate issues to solve and desire to control our own lives, to rule our own destinies, and to govern ourselves in our homeland.

The current Tamil political hierarchy is fractured to the core leaving Tamils in their homeland helpless and without political solution especially the war affected.

Once a political solution is found, TUNO will urge all Tamils around the world to invest in Sri Lanka with potential of over £50 billion in foreign investment.

We kindly request all Tamil institutions small and large support and declare their allegiance to this cause.
